How a love for rivers became Montana's most adventurous outfitter.
Zoo Town Surfers was born out of a deep passion for Montana's rivers and the communities that surround them. What started as a small group of river enthusiasts sharing their love of whitewater has grown into one of western Montana's premier adventure outfitters.
Based in Missoula — affectionately known as "Zoo Town" — we've been guiding rafting trips, teaching river surfing, leading packrafting expeditions, and introducing people to the incredible waterways of the Northern Rockies.
From the Class III rapids of Alberton Gorge to the wild Lochsa River corridor, from peaceful floats on the Bitterroot to surf sessions on the Clark Fork, our playground spans some of the most beautiful river miles in the country.
Our mission has always been simple: get more people on the river. Whether you're a first-timer looking for a thrilling introduction to whitewater or an experienced paddler seeking your next challenge, we're here to make it happen — safely, sustainably, and with a whole lot of stoke.
