Zoo Town Surfers' guides are the Valley’s whitewater experts. Many of us grew up along the local rivers, where childhood days were spent playing at the local swimming hole, inner tubing, or rafting. Every one of our guides is also an experienced kayaker, which means one thing: whitewater is our talent, regardless of the craft or the conditions. With this connection to the rivers of Missoula and over a decade of experience guiding and instructing guests, we look forward to showing you the local secrets. We specialize in working with our customers to create the perfect day on the river, and our ability to meet the needs of any client or group is unsurpassed.
We begin by customizing our trips according to whitewater or scenic adventures. We gauge the level of excitement or sightseeing our customers desire and how long they would like to be on the river — a full day, half day, or a few hours on a hot afternoon. Our approach to finding the ideal river experience may include specialized menus, side hikes, or stopping at a cool eddy to swim and relax. At the end of the day, our customers go home with a smile looking forward to their next river adventure.
