Terms & Conditions

Attention Whitewater Boaters

The following terms and conditions apply to all participants on Zoo Town Surfers kayaking and rafting trips.

Participation Agreement
All guests with Zoo Town Surfers will be asked to read and sign an Assumption of Risk Participation Agreement prior to any whitewater rafting trip or kayak instruction. Minors must also have the Agreement read and signed by a parent or legal guardian. If the minor’s legal guardians will not be participating in the trip, the form may be read and signed in advance.

Reservation Policies
We operate trips on a daily basis from May through September and require a 50% deposit to secure the date of your choice. If necessary, you may call us within 48 hours of your trip’s departure time to change your reservation. All balances due can be handled over the phone prior to your arrival, or upon arrival.
We accept all major credit cards.
As group sizes will often change, you may notify us of a change in your group size up until 48 hours of the trip’s departure, with no penalty. Trip departure times may also be adjusted to better suit your group. However, we ask that you place your request within 48 hours of your trip date in order to serve you best.

Cancellations
Cancellations made ten or more days before your trip departure will receive a full refund. For cancellations 2-9 days before a trip, a 50% refund or alternative booking will be issued at your discretion. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of a trip’s departure time. No-shows are also non-refundable. Although unlikely, Zoo Town Surfers reserves the right to cancel a trip at any time if faced with unsuitable or unsafe weather or river conditions. If Zoo Town Surfers is forced to cancel a trip, you will be notified immediately and a full refund or alternative booking will be arranged.

Age Limit
The minimum age for all Zoo Town Surfer activities is 5 years old.  During spring run-off, we will increase the age limit may be increased to 15 and up on the Alberton Gorge.  Were on the river everyday so give us a call for questions or an update on conditions

Alcohol Policy
Consumption of alcohol before or during any whitewater activity creates a serious risk to all participants on the trip or course.  Alcohol is not permitted before or during any of our whitewater trips.
