About Us

Zoo Town Surfers originally formed as just a youth kayak club, and was going to serve as a summer time program for local teenagers under World Class Kayak Academy. Since 2004, ZTS has expanded into a full on white water rafting and kayaking business.

As a business owner and kayaker, I want to share the experiences I have on the water and try to share them with you. That is one of the main reasons I started Zoo Town Surfers. My main goal is to show friends, family, and guests all that a river has to offer and will hopefully walk away with a greater appreciation of our rivers.

Our headquarters, Crystal Springs serves as a meeting point for raft and kayak trips and also is a great place to “connect” with our guests. Crystal Springs has amenities such as hot showers, changing rooms, retail shop, complimentary beverages, and darn good horseshoe pits!

Our mission at Zoo Town Surfers is helping others enjoy the best a river has to offer, whether rowing, paddling, floating, or surfing. We believe that a day on the river is more than a good day-it's a lifestyle
